Yesterday in the airports…
In Indianapolis, I met a Jordanian man and his mother. They were so nice to me alhamdulilah and helped me out with where I needed to go and how to get there.
In Chicago, I met two young men, AbdurRahman and Ali. I helped them read the gate times and where to go. We were all three going to Amman. They gave me good conversation and it was nice.
In Amman, I recognised a man and his three children whom I’ve seen in Chicago. Along with the Jordanian. Alhamdulilah, the man, who I found out is Palestinian and his daughter sat right in front of me on the last aeroplane. His daughter, Jannah, kept me company by playing silly games with me. Alhamdulilah.
After getting off the last aeroplane, the Palestinian man said, “Follow me” because I had no idea where to go and when to do it, with the visa, checked baggage, and Customs area. Alhamdulilah.
Alhamdulilah for ALL of the wonderful people I met yesterday. And alhamdulilah for the Jordanian man and his mother for rescuing me from alshabab. At the Amman airport, al shabab basically sat in my area and were talking and “checking me out” as I was apparently taking a flight with the most available men ON that flight.
Audibillah. LOL
Anyway, mama is cooking up some macaron with chicken. NOMMY. And she keeps giving me sweets. Masha’Allah, bless her heart. I’m going to rehydrate now.
Asalaam alaikum wa rahmatulahi wa barakatu.
